Day 01 –
Rome
After you touch down at the airport,
make your own way to your hotel. check in and enjoy your first, day and
night in italy.
Day 02 –
Rome / Naples / Pompeii / Sorrento
After breakfast at your hotel, a coach bus will depart
at 7:00am, taking the highway “of the sun”through the regions of Lazio
and Campania, where you will see a picturesque view of the Abbey of
Montecassino. Upon arriving in Naples, you will go on a short panoramic
city tour, seeing sites such as the Mergellina neighborhood, Castel
dell’Ovo, Plebiscito Square, the Royal Palace, Maschio Angioino, and the
port. Have lunch in a restaurant en route to Pompeii and then visit the
excavations
of the famous roman city, destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in
79 A.D. leaving Pompeii, you will drive along the Sorrentine coast,
arriving in Sorrento for dinner and an overnight in your new hotel.
Day 03 –
Sorrento / Capri / Sorrento
Board a boat for the island of Capri after breakfast.
Depending on weather and sea conditions, you will enter the infamous
Blue Grotta in a small rowboat. After, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant
and then roam the island at your own pace. Return to the mainland for
dinner and your last overnight in Sorrento.
Day 04 - Sorrento / Palermo ( Overnight on
ferry boat )
Spend a leisurely morning eating breakfast at your
hotel and then exploring Sorrento. That afternoon, depart for Naples
harbor, where you will board the Tirrenia/Snav Ferry to Palermo. Let the
waves rock you to sleep. Please note, dinner and breakfast are not
included on the boat.
Day 05 –
Palermo
Arrive in Palermo and make your own way to your hotel
before spending a leisurely day around the city. Come back to your hotel
for dinner and your first overnight in Sicily.
Day 06 -
Palermo / Monreale /( Erice ) / Palermo
After breakfast in your hotel, depart for Monreale and
visit the cathedral as well as the cloisters. Back in Palermo, tour the
Palatine Chapel, the Cathedral, and take in the sights during a
panoramic tour before having lunch at your hotel. Spend
The afternoon in Palermo at your leisure, optional excursions available
(suplment payable on the site with a minimum
Partecipants) to Erice, a small medieval village in western Sicily, and
the surrounding salt mills of the Trapani region (to be Paid locally).
Dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 07 -
Palermo / Segesta / Selinunte ( With lunch at a local farmhouse ) / Agrigento
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before departing for
Segesta, where you will visit the Doric Temple and enjoy a delicious.
Landscape. Continue on to Selinunte to explore its archaeological sites
and ruins on your own. After, visit a local Farmhouse known for its
olive oil production and partake in a special lunch, featuring local
foods and wines. Next you’ll Travel south to Agrigento, strolling
through its history at the Valley of the Temples, known for its
well-preserved Greek Temples. Visit to th Valley , then check in to your
new hotel for dinner and some well-earned rest.
Day 08 -
Agrigento / Caltagirone (With lunch at a local farmhouse) / Catania
Breakfast at the hotel and departs to Caltagirone. The
cith has beeen long famous for the production of pottery, Particularly
maiolica and terracotta. The main landmark of the city is the 142-step
monumental Staircase of Santa Maria Del Monte, built from 1608 in the
old part of the town. Lunch in a popluar farmhoue nearby. After your
lunch you’ll e Driven to Catania where you’ll enjoya nice sightseeing of
the city, the capital of Baroqe style. The city has been buried by lava

before that. Many of the ancient monuments of the Roman city have been
destroyed by the numerous seisms.
Currently, different ancient remains can be seen and visited in the

Day 09
Catania
/Noto / Siracusa ( With A Special Dinner In A Local Restaurant
) / Catania
Once breakfast is served at your hotel, spend the morning admiring the
recently renovated cathedral in the nearby Baroque Town of noto. Depart
to Siracusa for lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon , visit of
the city. Founded Between 734 – 733 bc, Siracusa is where the past comes
alive. See the Temple of Minerva, today a catholic church; the legendary
Fountain of Arethusa; Apollo Temple; the Greek Theatre; the Roman
amphitheatre near the Latomie; and the Ear of Dionysus.
Eat dinner at a local restaurant in the heart of Ortiga, an island
connected to Siracusa by three bridges that is one of the Great ancient
capitals of Western civilization, once occupied by Greek Colonists from
corinth. Return to your hotel on the Mainland for an overnight stay.
Day 10
Catania / Etna ( With Lunch In A Farmhouse
) / Taormina Area
After your breakfast at your siracusa hotel, Weather
condition permitting, board a private bus to Mount etna, the Highest
active volcano in Europe, where you’ll disembark at Rifugio Sapienza
(1800 mt. High), a small village on the southern Slope of Etna, before
visiting the Craters of Mount Silvestri. While taking in the panoramic
views, you’ll spot a wonderful variety of fauna and flora on the
moon-like landscape. Next, proceed to a farmhouse for a lunch of the
most unique Sicilian dishes before continuing on to Taormina, a
beautiful and romantic town located on Mount Tauro. Spend your free Time
visiting the famous Greek Theatre, with its splendid views of mount Etna
and the Ionian sea, or do some shopping while
Strolling through the picturesque, narrow paths of the city center.
Enjoy dinner and relaxation at your new hotel in Taormina area.
Day 11 -
Taormina Area / Messina / Cefalù / Palermo
Start the day with breakfast at your hotel and then
depart for Messina on a sightseeing tour of the city and sight of the
Strait that separate the island from Italy. Then on route to Cefalù will
give you a taste of foods and products typical of The island. Once in
Cefalù, a splendid fishermen’s village and seaside resort, you will have
time to leisurely wind your way Through the narrow lanes of the historic
center, full of shops and restaurants. Be sure to visit the Norman
cathedral, Founded in 1131 by roger ii. Next, you will travel to Palermo
for dinner and an overnight in your last hotel. Optional

Day 12 -
Palermo
Enjoy a final breakfast at your hotel
before your tour concludes.
